Re: Concerns about my battery health

So is the displayed value of the battery health meaningful or not? In any case, I will pay attention to it in the future if this is getting worse...maximum capacity of the battery till now was 80,2 kW - that's 4 kW less than normal :( It's hard to give a definitive answer. The data comes from JLR I...

Re: Concerns about my battery health

Some Maths WattCat uses the following formula to work out potential SOC and therefore “SOH” Predicted SOC = Indicated Charge / SOC * 100 SOH = Predicated SOC / 84.47 ** **84.47kWh being the maximum logical capacity of the I-PACE battery. Just wanted to chime in and say that the above mentioned math...

Active safety kit reliability

I love my I-Pace but there is one area of the car where I have very little confidence and that's the active safety kit. Primarily, it's the test done last year where not only did the I-Pace come in dead last while the E-Pace did great, but the engineers also seemed to indicate that this was expected...

Re: 8% Range Increase?

Note that it's up to 8% increase in range. One of the changes they've made is adjusting the torque distribution in Eco mode (it's 30-70 now I believe). You'll only reap the benefits of this change if you actually use Eco mode obviously. SoTA is also being upgraded and now supports SoTA og the TCU, B...

Re: Winter heating: your experience

My only gripe with the I-Pace as a winter car is the fact that the A/C struggles to heat up the cabin properly when it's cold outside. This might be the smart climate feature's fault though so I will try disabling that for my next cold weather drive. Due to crash safety it's generally recommended to...

Re: WattCat - InControl remote app for Android

emgf, SammyD, aquiss, Adrian: what kWh and SoC% charge does WattCat show you guys? The car was charged up overnight at the dealer. The current reading is Battery 100% (Full) Health 63% Capacity 64.95kWh Before it was Battery 58% full Health 59% Capacity 34.15 kWh I hope this helps. Very interesting...

Re: WattCat - InControl remote app for Android

Any chance of having the app for iOS iPhone? There are no plans for an iOS version at this time. Is it possible that we can start the heating in the seats and the steering wheel from the app? That is currently not possible I'm afraid. Whilst being updated I can also see that I currently have 0% cha...

Re: A positive post!

May I just add how ridiculously good this car is when driven in winter conditions? I had the car in AdSR and activated low friction launch and I got up an icy hill without any drama. 3-4 other cars were spinning around and one slammed into a wall behind me trying to replicate my effortless approach....

Re: WattCat - InControl remote app for Android

@ardevd Does the car populate the API with the current outside temp? Just wondering if showing the temp might be a helpful extra. Currently, I do not retrieve weather information. It is potentially something I could look into but I would quickly end up having to rely on a weather service API that c...

Re: WattCat - InControl remote app for Android

I noticed that the Play Store page for the wattcat app says:- "This app may not be optimised for your device" This is on a Samsung Tablet. Is it anything to worry about or for me to do to resolve it? {not being in any shape or form an android expert...} This is simply because there is no tablet opt...
