Re: Best Dealerships with I Pace experience

It should not make any difference to after sales service / warranty work as Jaguar pay the dealerships for doing it.

I understand that most dealers make more money from after sales, accessories, add-on insurances (GAP, tyres etc.) than they do from car sales.

Re: Range Reset Issue

Delayed charging works fine on mine. Set your preferred charge time say midnight to 7am, and set departure time; 7am. As long as the car can fully charge between those hours, it will delay the charge until Midnight. I don't think the O.P. has been active for nearly a year but I agree with what you ...

Re: JLR Fiasco

Droning and flapping noises heard at higher speeds may be related to an improperly installed grille to hood vent duct. That was the first thing I checked but it's ok on my car. The wheel arch lining hadn't been fitted back properly however but after that was rectified the noise was still there. It'...

Re: JLR Fiasco

.... there’s a loud flapping noise when I drive over 55mph,... I've had something similar since mine came back from the same repair in October. More of a droning sound at higher speeds than a flapping. I've taken it back twice and even been out with the technician but nobody else can hear it appare...

Re: Super ECO mode - an idea..

That's a 6% difference in efficiency between your 'fast' and 'normal' acceleration test runs. Given though that the average speed was 3% lower in the 'normal' run and that it regenerated 25% less energy I'd have to conclude any difference in efficiency due to acceleration was insignificant. A 3% inc...

Summary of their summary; Don't use the car if air temperature is above 50C. Probably not a concern in the UK. Don't use the car if air temperature is below -25C. Probably not a concern in the UK. Does anyone get the "as advertised" full charge?
Yes, in the summer 300 miles range is achievable :-)
Although maybe not if your driving style only yielded 15mpg from a Merc GLC! Even if it was the 63 S. :)

A very warm welcome anyway Rainowred.

Re: First LR Trip - Lancaster to London

Well done sir! And I concur with your economy and range. 270 miles using 130% battery gives a 207 mile 100% range. I did 145 miles today at a similar average speed using 70% battery - a 207 mile range from 100% battery. That will be closer to 240 miles in less windy, warmer weather. Great minds........

Doesn't say a great deal; 'Our pick - Jaguar I-Pace S, 2019/68, 7000 miles, £49,999: Premium EVs such as the Jaguar I-Pace are still finding their price level on the used car market: the sector is in its infancy and buyers are in the driving seat. Don’t count on things staying that way for much long...
