Re: Rear view mirror rattle

No dashcam fitted, and I initially thought it was the bigger plastic piece fixed more to the windscreen, but actually it seems to be the rear plastic cover of the mirror itself.

Maybe I'll have a bash around at some point.

Re: LKA ? Steered me into oncoming lane - twice.

I have had a very similar experience to PWH. It seems to centre around the area you drive in mainly( though not exclusively) but the software behind the emergency lane keep assist is a complete disaster. If you drive on narrow roads, at least on my iPace, it regularly tries to push you back into th...

Re: Matrix Headlights (Adaptive Driving Beam) don't seem to be working

OK, just checking. Now we need to find a way to actually get through to somebody that can actually do something about it. Clearly Jag have f*cked something up and not realised and are still probably producing cars with this problem now. Hopefully it's just a case of finding the right person who can ...

Re: Audio Problems - This Audio System is Horrible

Touchscreens are great for phones, but in a car you need buttons .... Amen to that. A lot of cars today seem to be designed for people who can't drive. Or park. Or drive in a lane (does LKA move to the left lane when it's empty - now that would be worth implementing!). Well in my BMW I could just r...

Re: Matrix Headlights (Adaptive Driving Beam) don't seem to be working

How sure are people that it's an issue and not us just being plonkers with a setting or switch? *Edit* Anyone up for a road trip to drive up and break Chris' lights?! **Double edit - Chris, are your lights definitely "matrix-ing" if that's a word?! They're not just doing the auto beam dipping?...

Re: Matrix Headlights

Somewhat annoying, certainly. I was hoping it was just because I didn't have the lights set to auto. Doesn't seem that way though. I twisted the stalk several times to the auto position and nothing changed whatsoever. It would be helpful if there was some sort of indicator that the matrix lights wer...

Re: Matrix Headlights (Adaptive Driving Beam) don't seem to be working

OK, well it looks like I'm another one to add to the list of cars with broken Matrix headlights. Several times I switched the stalk to "Auto", several times I pushed the stalk forward and held it for more then 1 second, never at any point did it display any matrix abilities. All manual. All Matrix s...

Re: Audio Problems - This Audio System is Horrible

Mine has its on and off days - when it decides not to work, I often find it's because I'm not logged into my driver profile. (Usually seems to happen if I've driven to a shop - dashed in, then gone back out to the car and driven again soon after.) In many ways I prefer the way the systems operated i...
