Re: iPace Charging on BP Chargemaster 150kW

Are we going to stop the I-Pace charging on 150kW chargers, or even the really fast 350kW Chargers? Well ... you'd be blocking it for an EV capable of faster charging. An ongoing problem I guess, going forwards, as more models appear and some of them are "even higher kW charging ability". Similar t...

Re: iPace Charging on BP Chargemaster 150kW

I’m a current Polar Plus customer and on a 50kWh charger the p/kW cost is 15p. From 10%-80% it would take near enough 1 hour. Now would I pay (ignoring the fact that the I-Pace won’t go higher than 100kW) 25p more to charge 3 times faster... approx. 20 minutes, more than likely. Assuming the electr...

Re: Complete and utter nonsense....

American policy and propaganda will actively support Tesla within the US to the detriment of foreign import EVs sales Although, as of just now, the USA have shot themselves in the foot on that .... EV subsidy Grant in USA is based on the number of EV units that a Manufacturer have sold (i.e. all th...

Re: Complete and utter nonsense....

What is a good target level for annual production for an EV "competitor"? I think 20K p.a. is on the low side, but I have nothing to base that on. I suppose that should be divided into price bands, not sure what they are, but say: £40-50K £60-80K and £80-100K Above that is going to be more specialis...

Re: Tesla service something Jaguar can learn from

Tesla service something Jaguar can learn from I'm doubting that ... :( " Thanks to a recent update, service requests for both service centers and mobile service can now be requested through the Tesla app, saving owners a few minutes per service request " The bit they missed off: although handy that...

Re: CCS Charging

A Nissan driver was trying to charge there and it wouldn’t work. He gave up and moved to the AC post Hopefully that isn't one of the "recently modified ones" and now a regression bug to cause failure for previously working charges :( As a point of interest, the row of Tesla superchargers that have ...

It’s car companies that “know better than us” that has resulted in Tesla being so far out in front.
