Re: The speed limit display in my hud is wrong

The only time mine reads 10mph too low is when I have the bike rack fitted. With bikes on the back, the speed limit sign is 60mph on motorways and 50mph I’m single carriage ways. I'm pretty sure that the Jaguar cycle rack electrics uses the same circuitry as the tow bar electrics! The car is assumi...

Re: Loan vehicle under warranty

Booking a loan car well advance I can totally accept as there are fewer staff on site due to Covid restrictions to organise everything.
To not offer any car or lift is just bad service, so well done Inchcape!

Name and shame/praise?

Stay safe

Re: Loan vehicle under warranty

This was met by howls of derision as I was advised that their drivers were not allowed to carry passengers due to the COVID-19 risk. Is this the JLR service we paid for???? I guess you might feel differently if as were the JLR employee that had to give a stranger a lift home after they just dropped...

Re: S20B not a cure all!

Yes ADD, was OK for a few days now back to hit and miss! Incidentally my Ionity charge on the A11 outside Chartres has just come through via Plugsurfing |(I used the Jaguar charging app) and the cost was £8.32. Presumably because it was a Euro cost! If it stays like this I will be using Ionity again...

S20B not a cure all!

Sorry to disappoint ADD but S20B hasn't rectified the log in password forgetfulness! Got into the car yesterday after an overnight charge and yes it wanted my log in password when I tapped the Sat Nav screen! Jaguar will have to put some effort into sorting this, as the last thing you should have to...

Re: 2nd Service

Brake fluid absorbs water over time - it is hydroscopic - so that could be a justifiable expense, only that the condition of the brake fluid can be tested very accurately, so it may not be necessary to replace it! The one that always gets me is 'washer fluid! My washer fluid is topped up when needed...

Re: 2nd Service

By the way that link to a Jaguar service centre near me gave my car as an I-Pace, petrol powered and an EV320! Where they dug that one up who knows/ This is supposed to be a premium car brand! It also reckons it have nautical properties as it can drive directly across the Bristol channel to Taunton!...

Re: 2nd Service

Quite likely change oil in transmission gearboxes, maybe lubrication of motor bearings, could be many things all that power is going to wear components. I can find no reference to changing the oil in the electric motors for a service in the Topix workshop manual! As it requires quite a few serious ...

Re: 2nd Service

I'd be interested it why it is more than double too! I believe the first service, mine is due (Time not mileage) at the end of August even though the app has been telling me the service is due since April! What did they do at the first service to justify £180? Only filter is the pollen, quick check ...

Re: Terrible Battery Mileage

I agree with all the previous posts, 98% 'should' give 200 miles plus even on a cold winters day. Now with temperatures up in the mid to high 20's then 230 miles is easily obtainable. Regarding the granny lead, it 'is' sensitive to bad connections in a wall socket and extension leads, I have a 'prop...
