Re: Traction Battery temperatures

This is very interesting for a number reasons. Here in the UK mean temperatures are approx 18ºC, over a year, though is is rare to have a wind free day. There is plenty of opportunity of finding a suitable location for a wind turbine! So could the answer be to 'draft' behind a heavy goods vehicle at...

Re: Traction Battery temperatures

Thanks guys, this is very interesting. Do you think that the range improves/reduces with temperature? i.e. in Italy, when the ambient temperature goes up, does your range come down? Similarly in Canada, is there a significant change in range from winter to spring? The reason for this is the I-Pace n...

Re: dash cam

Mount the front Dashcam directly below the cover behind the rear view mirror and route the cables under the cover, it pulls apart fairly easily, then NO ISSUES with GPS signal to Dashcam. I have installed 4 Thinkware Dual Dashcams, 1 Nextbase Dual and 1 Halo Pro Dual, all into I-Pace with no issues...

Re: Traction Battery temperatures

Hi Maxwell_400 Thanks for the link. That website reinforces my belief that the 'ideal' battery temperature is 25ºC. 15ºC would appear to be the lowest temperature that doesn't impact on power delivery. Do we think the JLR are running the batteries conservatively to appease LG? The reason I ask is th...

Re: Granny charger flashing blue charge light question

Hi Johnsoncp, The legends to tell you what each light does is on the underside of the charger. If your granny charger has lost the legends or they have been rubbed off, you can look on line at the On-Line user handbook. Failing that I have attached a screenshot for you to look at. Screenshot 2021-05...

Traction Battery temperatures

Who out there knows what the ideal battery temperature should be, for both fast charging and probably more importantly, maximum range? I've looked at the Power Cruise Control app (Android only) which gets the data from the car via the OBD2 port. This data is far more comprehensive than the API sent ...

Re: No Charging Port Indicator Lights

Everything happening with your Anderson charger is correct. So open charge port - White LED. Plug in the charger plug, solid white goes to flashing white. This is while the Anderson is checking out the car. The GREEN light goes on and only flashes for a short time. If on timed charging (Octopus Go) ...

Re: My Pace Beta - Expired

I had an email from Nikola (aka Jonnyhush) to say that he is OK and has issued the Testflight update. He apologises, it was due to work commitments that led to him not issuing the update! He said that a further update will come, doing away with the Testflight timeout. We are lucky that there are peo...

Re: My Pace Beta - Expired

The same for me.
I wonder if JonnyHush is OK as we haven't seen or heard from him in a while.
I'll email Nikola privately and see if he responds.
Let's hope it is only a temporary glitch as the app had lots of very useful information.

Stay safe

Re: H288 Wiring Harness

Re the H288 recall, I had a call from the dealer to say that I should have got my car back today if JLR had included some cable clips in the H288 kit to keep the loom away from the steering column they had indicated to fit! It went in on Tuesday, so had JLR included the clips in the kit, it would ha...
