Re: GeniePoint Charger Caused High Voltage System Fault

I wish (I think) I'd gotten that far. After a problem with my first not-at-home charge in a Lidl car park resulting in a message saying to content the service department because of a battery fault I decided to sign up with GeniePoint as they have a couple of chargers fairly nearby. I want to prove t...

Re: For Sale: Centre Console Samsung Phone Holder

Hi - I'm not sure but you should be able to check by sliding your phone into the existing slot in the centre console, if it fits in there with the case on without the kit installed, and the charging point is in the middle of the phone, it should be fine.

For Sale: Centre Console Samsung Phone Holder

I purchased one of these kits but then decided to use a wireless charging mat instead. It's entirely unused, just the package was opened.
Happy to sell at half price for £10 if anyone's interested:

Re: Unscrewing seat rails

Have you tried passing something thin under the rail, like a steel rule - then take the nylon strap through? As it turns out, I was being a div. I moved the seat forward looking to see if @Fluff's recommendation would work and then I noticed there's actually a decent gap under the rails further for...

Re: Unscrewing seat rails

I'm just wondering if those smaller fasteners are actually rivets. The main load will be via the big bolt. So Jaguar will let you remove the seat, but not the rail, without more specialised tools. Also while the bracket company says its easy to fix, potentially you risk a problem, as you will have ...

Unscrewing seat rails

I'm thinking of installing some tether loops (https://www.carseat.se/product/tether-loops-long/) to attach an extended rear-facing car seat to but before I start unscrewing stuff I want to be sure I know what I'm doing! There look to be two, maybe three, bolts holding the back of the seat rail in pl...

Re: Charging cable storage

If you ever happen to charge at CostCo, you need your own cable for those chargers Never knew Costco had charging points. I suppose I didn't have to... until now! What speed chargers does Costco have? I have totally missed this myself, is it all Costco's? No, not all of them unfortunately. They're ...
