Re: Would you buy an I Pace again?

The likely answer is no - in 2023 there are much more options available so much more to choose from. Early 2018 I had only 2 options to choose, Tesla Model S or Jaguar I-pace whereby the at the end of decision making process the Tesla Model S was no longer possible due to more options becoming stand...

Re: Ionity Tracking

Finally some more activity, construction started on 5 new locations bringing total over 100 (55 live).

I am very happy with 1 new location - (AT, A4 road from Vienna to Bratislava/Budapest) just hope it will be quickly completed so I can use it Easter weekend.

Re: I-Pace range

Here's some real world range experience... 2 adults, 2 kids, LPM, 70 on the motorway, 11 degrees. Just under 40kwh per 100 miles. IMG_20190218_155456~2.jpg Well done but that really confuses me. Last Friday night I did a 246km trip mostly highway and got to 28.5kW/100km = 45.6kW/100mile. Yet my eco...

Re: What is the status of 100kW charging? 120 KW for Tesla M3 at Ionity chargers !

Tesla M3 can charge up to 120KW at Ionity chargers Well Tesla is a company that understands the needs of EV drivers when it comes to range, charging, easy of use etc. Unlike the dinosaurs of Jaguar that looks surprised and annoyed when you ask "which version of software you installed" or say "yes t...

You are right - unfortunately my car doesn't show the Battery Software version - is is blank on the screen.
Smiles. At least you have some version information. Here is mine ...
I start with the same screen as you - when you press "check for Update" it will show the Telematics version.

15.2 is the Telematics I believe. The BMS is a different set of software again.

Re: What is the status of 100kW charging?

What I do not understand is that EU forced Tesla to have CCS capability but didn't force Tesla to open their supercharger network. The current situation is BRILLIANT for M3 owners as they can charge EVERYWHERE but are an absolute nightmare for other CCS EV owners. There will be many M3 on the road a...

Re: DC charging errors

These are the Allego chargers - I had different problems with them in Belgium. From the 5 I tried, 2 had communication problems, 1 didn't do anything, 1 gave a CCS error and 1 worked luckily although this charger was not indicated to be an Allego charger the hardware/software shown seemed identical ...

Noone who's doing a roadtrip this weekend and trying to get 100kw?
Already did a road trip last night, see post in >100kw along A3 topic. Max speed was 82kW with speed reducing just before 50% SoC. I have car software 15.2 (installed 3 weeks ago). Tried HPC at Ionity and Innogy.

That will be down to the software in your I-Pace. Some have software that will hold 80kW until 80% SOC.

Jaguar really need to sort this out. It is not as advertised.
Fully agree but that is why I was so dissapointed as 3 weeks all software was updated to latest available, I have 15.2
