Re: I-Pace Charging Sucks

You're missing the point. When your destination only has 3 phase charging on 11kw, the iPace takes forever. However, doesn't matter which kind of charger it is, the Tesla has it pretty much covered. I know I'll probably get all the usual responses about quality of Tesla , etc, but they certainly hav...

I-Pace Charging Sucks

I'll probably get shot for this, but even destination charging can be terrible on an iPace. I'm parked next to a Tesla model 3 which can charge more than 3 times quicker than my iPace. I know everyone will say it's quick enough, but when you need 24 hours to charge on a destination charger, it reall...

Re: Ignition turns off when driver door is opened?

This is also one of my pet hates, along with the fact that the alarm engages if you leave the car and don't lock the door. I've often left the kids in the car for 5 minutes whilst jumping into the shop for 5 minutes only for them to trip the alarm. JLR, If I want the car to do something, I'll push a...

Re: Audi e-tron SB

Did they do this on the existing e-tron 55, or just the new e-tron SB?

Re: A Better Route Planner?

ABRP is an excellent tool. Especially when you link it with google maps on the car. However, you need to have a good idea of your average realistic consumption to get the most out of it. Would be good if JLR opened up this info so it could talk to ABRP like Tesla, however, I don't see that happening...

Re: Ford Mustang Mach-E leaked specs

In France they state it can cover up to 600km... 90Kw = 450 km and 99kw= 600km so with 10% more battery they add 33% range ! 150km with 9 KW is a world record p When will they stop to lie like this ? I just read the same for the future BMW i4. They know that it is what ppl are expecting to buy an E...

Re: Ford Mustang Mach-E leaked specs

This looks very interesting indeed. Looks like 2020 could be a landmark year for EV's, especially in the non-premium EV sector. I was worried these would be US only, but they'll be available in Europe too.

Now my eco mode is giving same as other modes. After a 100% charge this morning it's showing 454km in all modes including eco. Not really sure I trust it though!

Re: chargeing overnight and SoC

It's going a bit off topic about charging to above 80% or not.

There's no need to have the car plugged in to have the cabin preconditioned. AFAIK you need it plugged in only for battery preconditioning. I guess this was more the question.
