Re: IPace resetting various settings and just clunky

Have you had all the recent software updates, some of those items were fixed in one a couple of months ago.

I've had no problems at Bannantynes Stepps (Instavolt) in the past.
I have found that Instavolt chargers are probably the most reliable chargers. They are a bit more expensive than Polar though.
Yes the Instavolt do tend to be very reliable and so easy to use IME

Re: Regen toggle button

You can set up your own home pages and add whatever you want. I have those buttons on mine. Cant quite recall how you do it, its ages since I did mine, but I think you hit the home button twice, it takes you to a setup screen, you can click and add things in there, it's all in the e manual anyway. S...

Re: Ioniq - efficient EV

I have just swapped out my MG ZS EV for one of these... https://youtu.be/nUUlAx40XU4 . What was the main reason for the swap Chewy? We were getting about 170 miles of range in the MG, which is good at about 4 miles/kWh. About 20 miles short of what my wife needed to visit our daughter without havin...

Re: Range over Pennines?

I have never used Low Regen yet and never will, driving with High Regen is a far better experience .... Er, how can you know high regen is a "far better driving experience" if you've never tried low regen? :? Because I did try it when test driving the car before buying, since the first time I drove...

Re: Range over Pennines?

Been over the Pennines several times. What goes up must come down and there’s a lot of regen to be had on the down section. I was planning on low-regen and encouraging a bit of coasting on the way down - did you find it works well on the descent then? I've only driven in low regen so far, will be d...

Re: Range over Pennines?

Anyone any idea what sort of a hit driving from North Yorkshire to Blackpool on the M62 over the Pennines is going to take? Any guesses for what's going to be left in the tank after 120 miles at 70mph with a 3000 ft climb in it? 20%, 30% if I'm lucky? Place your bets and I'll update you after the w...

Re: 2021 model Home Charging

Not sure of this will work as don't know all the technical details, but could those wanting 3ph, get a single to 3ph convertor? I had one 20 years or more ago for running some machinery, it was a lot bigger box than these, but it did work OK and did the job. Might be different with charging situatio...

Re: New owner

Hello all, Just a quick introduction as will be collecting a 68 plate first edition on Friday this week. Was a bit of an impulse buy as was going to wait another year or two but when you look at the fuel costs I thought why wait. Am coming from a slightly larger Lexus so there is a bit of a comprom...
