Re: What did you do in, or with your I-pace today ?

Oh, the irony of driving an alleged zero emissions vehicle and then burning all that carbon into the air .... The wood has been cut down already and just left to rot. Yes Trees capture carbon but also release it back when rotting or being burnt. Oh, and the heat from the wood fire means that I don'...

Re: What did you do in, or with your I-pace today ?

IMG_0502.jpg Here is my baby at 08:00 today with the back full of logs for burning next winter. I collected them from where a load of Ash trees have been cut down to try to stop the spread of Ash Dieback disease. My PodPoint charger is on the left and my Blue Triumph Trophy is on the right through ...

Re: Very happy with this road trip

Oh “A” roads up to oakhampton and from there to the m5. Then m5 to Taunton, M5 / m4, then A roads to the m3 then M3 / M25 A21 So you went the long way around then? Obviously depends on the time of day but... I'd have gone M5 to Taunton then down to the A303 -> M3 (Fleet Services for a top up) then ...

Re: Navigation and charging, does it work?

I have to admit that I've not really used the JLR route planner at all. Apps like Zap-Map etc make it easy to plan on the fly. I've got used to the myroute-app system for when riding my bike so I use that. I can plan stops for food and hotels and other things very accurately with it and it is easy t...

March Sales

Insideev's is reporting that over 2000 I-Paces were sold last month. Some 8% of all Jaguars. https://insideevs.com/march-2019-jaguar-sold-2000-i-pace/ And mine was one of them! After a month I have to say that I don't regret it for one moment. I know I've only touched the surface with its features. ...

Re: I Pace Owners Map

Now if you could all post a photo of your car keys at night that would make my visit much smoother Mr C Thief. Just the location of where they are stored in your house. That would save me waking you up and threatening your dearly beloveds with one of those nice new knives that you have in the kitch...

Re: New Owner - Which Home Charger

There is some communication between the car and the charger. This should help https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Type_2_connector#Pins The chargers are generally quite dumb when it comes to giving the user access to fine control the charger or to extract data from it. I have a Pod-Point wall charger (ins...

Re: Long trips with I-pace

As mentioned I drove a lot off highway in Austria and beyond any doubt the I-pace is a Masterpiece and a Monster when it comes to driving winding, up & down single carriageways and overtaking really becomes child's play. I really enjoyed some brilliant overtakes at places I never ever would have be...
