Re: Why can't the iPace charge at 22kw

Rumour has it that VW bought up all the 3ph chargers available. Not sure how true this is though.

Re: Model S to a......MG!

i've lost count of the times where I've been called a troll for saying that Tesla's are not the only EV's in the world and that the place would be mightily boring if everyone only drove a Tesla. Some have this picture of a Utopia where their Tesla is off out earning them a cool $100K a year while th...

Re: Beware wayward Waypoints

ROFL. I've been using route planning software for a number of years. The issues described above are all common ones. Waypoints are an issue with some satnavs. Learning how to delete them on the go is an essential skill for the advanced user. To be honest, I've just about given up on the Here Maps us...

Man, was that boring. There is such a thing as too many facts and figures. This guy really needs to understand that.

For me, part of the journey is the planning. Finding the places to stay, eat, visit and charge is all part of the trip but that's probably the nerd in me talking.

Re: BP Chargemaster activates first 150kW ultra-fast EV chargers

Though its still the subscription that kills Instavolt for me. I only need 55kW, even at 20p to break even for the subscription. 55kW really isn’t much, especially in an iPace  . So for me this is revolutionary in its own way, > 50kW iPace charging, at a forecourt that will hopefully be availa...

Re: SOTA email

Can you please upload a picture of the InControl version? I been on conversation with JLR customer services and my dealer and I’m at the point of snapping with them now. Thanks While I had one update, the InControl part didn't get an update. Ok, so I've not looked since the H228 work was done but I...

Re: CCS Charging

When did you last try Ecotricity? They have updated their chargers now and I used 6 of them at the weekend with no issues. Note: if it doesn’t charge first time, reboot the charger using the emergency stop button. That worked for me on the one that wouldn’t start from the app. I used the Ecotricity...

Re: Ionity Gretna Green

Thanks Chris - just signed up for CYC and ordered a card so I can use that very charger when I take my daughter to university in Edinburgh in three weeks’ time. CYCs website says the app doesn’t work on that charger. Am feeling nervous about going in the iPace as I have charger only twice publicly ...
