Re: EVs are becoming afordable

Base model will have a price of £24,000 after the first 1000 have been sold. That’s an impressive price point for a well equipped car. I’d probably want better range for my road trips but for most people it will be plenty.

Re: Timed charge success after H228 upgrade

Good news, just to be sure, as I have been testing this for a good while now, how long before the planned 8pm charge time did you set the charger and plug the car in? as that period over 2.5 hours is what has been causing me problems. GD after his update has now got it working over a longer period ...

Fair enough but I still don’t see what any of that has to do with anything I said which simply corrected someone who incorrectly claimed that ABRP only shows Tesla chargers.

Re: I-Pace and future charge speeds

In the past they’ve spoken about an absolute limit of 120 kw but I have no idea if that was a limitation in the onboard charger or to protect the battery.

ABRP has the full range of chargers. So chocolate teapots must be making a comeback.
ABRP does not take into account that the corridor stations has only one charger and the road trip will take place in August !
I never said it did.

Absolutely :) I ain't falling out with anyone buying an EV of any flavour ... I'm taking aim at everyone I know who thinks they need a Gas Guzzling Range Rover for the School Run ...
Wholeheartedly agree with that!

Re: Mi/kWh

Maybe sticking to the National speed limits helped :-) The weird thing is that I drove exactly how I always do. Even on the way home itr was better than previous results,. The weather turned awful, really heavy rain, strong headwind (20 mph), wet roads (obviously), and heavy traffic, and I st...

Re: Mi/kWh

Do you think the "expected" range improvement has happened in this update? Would be surprised if Jaguar has not made a statement about it. I honestly don’t know. Like you, I feel we’d have known something if that was the case. I can’t see this one slipping through without them shouting it from the ...

Re: H228 - Modules that are updated

If h228 requires an update to all modules then I can confirm that dealers aren’t doing it. I’m on an older version of 19A and telematics 14.2 after h228. I might be wrong but I don’t think it did specify that in Topix.
