Re: Avoid the I-Pace!

I totally fail to understand how some of their cars could have squeaky brakes and others would not. My basic premise is that there is no way that the car approved and tested by the CEO of Jaguar would've ever made this noise. If it did, he will said fix it. How did you get Jaguar to buy your car ba...

Re: Avoid the I-Pace!

OMG I wanted to like this car, but it has been a disaster. Laggy technology, idiots in the service department, slow charging, poor range, bad visibility, and the brakes...squeak, squeak, squeak...all called "normal" by Jaguar Tech service. Listen at www.jaguaripaceproblems.com to hear this unmitiga...

Re: What a creep!

I confess that I am a Creep user. I used No Creep for several months in the times when the software defaulted to No Creep. I learned to use it but did not like the fact that when you depress the brake to engage "hold" to prevent rolling backwards, there was no "hold" indication in the instrument clu...

Re: Just took delivery of my new I-Pace, do I need to do any software updates?

I assume if I spoke to the dealer they would be able to tell me from the VIN if it has had the H264 update? Yes, they would look it up in their TOPIX system. You could open a TOPIX account and see if there are any outstanding campaigns (like H264) for your car. I had a look in TOPIX and there is no...

Re: Just took delivery of my new I-Pace, do I need to do any software updates?

Hello all, I am very happy to join the I-Pace family at last! We just took delivery yesterday of your lovely new 2020 I-Pace, and in doing all the set-up, I wanted to check to make sure about software versions. When I go though the software update on the car, it does say all software is up to date,...

Re: Just finalising order!

Hi everyone, I am just in process of negotiating between dealers for an i-pace - had a test drive and feels great. The tax breaks (will be doing it through my company) are very good, both personally and for the business (at least for the next few years) but at dinner parties I will of course be say...

Re: Timed charging

So the table in the article says 12pm is noon, and 12am is midnight (00.00) as 12 acts as 0, so 12pm is 0 after Meridian so 12:00 but whatever I apologise for the confusion in not using the 24 hour clock. As an update the car did not automatically start charging at 23.00, so yet again the ipace pro...

Re: prep for ownership

Hi All, This forum seems great with lots of people sharing their experiences. I have just ordered an ipace SE, Caesium Blue with 20" wheels, air suspension, active dynamics and driver assist packs. Delivery is proposed early March but I will try to delay until after April 6 to save a little on the ...
