Re: DashCam installation iPace

I am also using the OBD port like Chewy. See this post for my experience with this:

Re: WattCat - InControl remote app for Android early access

Hello Ardevd, I have something similar to JohnGriff. My metered consumption (Octopus Energy) indicates a charger output of about 7KW during the charge but WattCat is reporting only around 5.3KW at the logging points. My charge cable is 6 metres (an Ohme cable) but I can't imagine its the cable causi...

I don't seem to be showing?

Co4 owner
Two of us occupy the PO15 post code, only one of us appears to be showing unless there is a way to display all owners at that post code?

The map is coming along nicely though.

Re: Remote Incontrol app

Hi, My Remote incontrol app on the iPhone has completely stopped. Tried to install the app after advice from the dealer. First you have to delete the account, to delete the account you have to remove the vehicle ! Now the message on the screen iPad says: Removing vehicle, please wait ! This message...

Re: 8% range increase and 107kW charging imminent?

One thing I might add to Chewy's explanation is that another reason to not turn off a PM motor is that they can't free roll anyway. The magnets are permanent, so rotating magnets in the rotors will inevitably generate current in the stator coils. Induction motors on the other hand, the magnetic fie...

Re: 8% range increase and 107kW charging imminent?

Maybe a language issue, but I do not understand the following paragraph in the shared posting. Could someone pls help and explain what this is about and what the gain will be once the balancing algorithm is improved? What does ‚charge the charging cable‘ mean. Does the car stop charging too early? ...

Re: Remote App

No visible difference apart from the subscriptions. But it now tells me my service is due in 19,883 miles when it’s actually due in about 14,000 miles. The API actually provides service information directly, but as you point out, I've found it to be completely inaccurate. The app’s reported service...

Re: Octopus energy v EDF

Don't forget to factor in standing charge, that can make a difference. Octopus Go (inc VAT): Unit Rate (00:30 - 04:30) - 5p/KWh Unit Rate (04:30 - 00:30) - 13.8p/KWh Standing Charge - 25p/day (£86.91/year) Also worth looking at their gas tariff. Isn't your standing charge (£91.25) - 25p*365. Anyway...
