Re: Real world range?

Hi Everyone. I'm a new iPace owner and have had my car for a couple of weeks. I see that the driving range is listed by Jaguar as 290 miles, but I'm seeing a much reduced estimate after a full charge. I know the range depends on a lot of factors, but I seems to be seeing an estimate of only 235 mil...

Re: WattCat - InControl remote app for Android early access

I really want to try WattCat but do not own any Andriod devices; completely Apple household. Any recommendations as to what to get if I only want to use the device (phone or tablet, does it matter?) for WattCat and no other purpose? Also, ardevd would I be able to download the app from GoogleStore ...

Re: Ok... Who stole my battery?

I've had this niggling doubt for some time that my car was not getting the range it should. Even in the height of summer the most I got was 215miles and that is with a very light foot. After some more seeds of doubt were planted at the Rutland Water event, I decided to do something about it. I'm a ...

Re: Cambs Newbie with Qs

Thanks Steve. All good help here, again your running 20s which I had read killed the range? The width of the tyre (greater for 20" than say 18") clearly will affect rolling resistance and therefore range but not to the same degree as frequent hard acceleration and very fast motorway driving. I thin...

Re: Cambs Newbie with Qs

180miles is easily doable based on my experience of a 290mile round trip a couple of times a month driving at or close to speed limits. I do stop to charge for about 30mins on the return trip but at that point I have covered about 180miles with a comfortable at least 50 miles left in summer and more...

Re: 20" Tyre replacement in UK

I've used "ASDA tyres" to get a tyre for a full size wheel as a spare. I entered the tyre size on their website and they could do them for £194 inc balance. I thought that was reasonable and its the same as the tyres on the car (GoodyearEagle F1 Asymmetric 3 SUV245/50R20 105V). They will have the t...

Re: Springy noise when braking at low speeds

I can’t see if this topic has come up before but is anyone getting a spring sound when parking, its becoming very embarrassing when I have passengers are in the car. Sounds like a budget car rather than a smooth 80k car. Wanted to check before I ring the garage again. I have been experiencing somet...

Re: Quick Survey

I think the best way forward would be to organise a proper test. 1) get a load of I-Pace owners to sign up. 2) Then on an agreed day, they all go to at least one Ecotricity Charger and get a 20kW charge. 3) Document in fine detail (or if you are able, video it) 4) collate the results and pass them ...
