Re: Range Decline Following In Control Update

This is my experience too. It’s my first winter in the Jag. My range has dropped from approximately 230 miles in the summer to 205 miles now. The recent rain and significant temperature drop has increased consumption by up to 25% depending on distance/route taken. This is normal and to be expected ...

Re: Preconditioning

I think this has been covered somewhere but I can’t find it. Does anyone have issues with the preheating and charge timer? I set mine to only charge in the morning for an hour but the car just starts charging after a few hours anyway? Anyone experience this? Hello Sir, What you are experiencing is ...

Re: Jaguar 3.0ltr Diesel Range

There is a lot of highly respected information available via the Internet suggesting that EV Battery Production is not clean. It only needs common sense to understand that. https://www.autocar.co.uk/car-news/industry/analysis-just-how-green-are-electric-vehicles https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&sourc...

I'm just surprised by how cheap diesel is in the Forest of Dean.

69 litres cost around £90 here! ;)
Ah, Plus VAT :-)

Re: Looking at moving to EV

Hello Dave, My two-penneth worth, and remember this is the Premier I-Pace Forum so there is a bit of bias here ..... It is great to hear that you are least considering looking at EVs other than the Tesla when making your choice. It is good that you are considering an EV at all, for which you are com...

Re: Jaguar 3.0ltr Diesel Range

Blocked. This is not a diesel owners forum. Nor is it an anti-EV forum. I hate hypocrites and watching him change his side of the story overnight because his radio wasn’t perfect is pathetic and ridiculous. I hope his children and grandchildren live long enough to tell him what they think of his ri...

Re: Jaguar 3.0ltr Diesel Range

Just playing with the other side of the argument :-) It can be quite compelling if you try. Not to devout EV owners, but easy to sway non EV people towards ICE. 5 minutes fuel time.... Just filled up the XJ with 69ltrs. Took 4mins and 35 secs from pulling off the road to driving away again. Payment ...

And now we are to have deep sea mining that will harm both plant life and other life that lives below the sea...
