More referring to ‘Jaguar’ commands!

 

I use it mainly for Nav instructions on the rare occasions I use the car nav rather than Waze.

 

nope, voice command and me don't get along, like those scottish blokes in the lift.

 

All the time, quicker at getting directions on the map than the jaguar voice control (Which never gets it right).

 

Siri select Drive, Siri select lane assist, Siri select ASL. The list is endless. Clive.

Keep in mind that there are two possible Alexa implimentations.

I don't have Alexa In-Car in my old 2019 HSE, but I do have the Jaguar 'Skill' installed on my home Alexa.

When it works it is a neat party trick .... but sadly (like so many settings on my ipace) the setup suffers amnesia and needs to be paired/synced again quite often - something I've frankly gotten fed up with.

My I-Pace is literally the ONLY wifi connected device (out of many dozens) I've ever owned that fails to remember and automatically connect to a specified wifi network, but then again it only cost £82k

 

I too have the jlr skill set and great in winter (used it with my diesel x260 too)
Alexa, ask jaguar to start the car
And voila, nice and toasty defrosted car

 

Mine logs itself out from time to time which is annoying.

 

Yes, the Alexa logging itself out every few weeks on average is quite annoying. I suspect it's a safety feature implemented when the mobile app security was increased.

 

Still can’t not make a call, she asks for Bluetooth connection and have no idea how to connect it via BT.
