Hi all.
I have the 2019 HSE due its brake hose replacement at the next servicing.
Has anyone found an alternative set of hoses, such as EBC or Black Diamond?
The genuine jaguar ones are a rip off at dealer prices.
Many thanks.
Tony

So BT, this very much depends on your warranty situation . If still under a JLR warranty then fitting non-JLR parts are likely to invalidate that. If you are not then there are alternatives such as EBC etc that will more than do the job. Clive.

Thanks Clive.
Warranty is finished so no issue there.
Im having trouble finding any alternatives though, no listing's for them for the iPace.
Does anyone have any knowledge of a viable alternative to Jaguar parts?
Cheers. Tony

If it’s out of warranty I wouldn’t bother changing. I’ve never had to change flexible hoses in any of my cars except my son’s fiesta where you could see it perished. Money making scam by JLR as iPaces need little maintenance compared to an ICE so they have to make things up.

It's not special to EV's - my old 1981 XJ6 had brake pipe replacement in the schedule - AFAIR change the fluid every 2 years, hoses every 4, and if you were keen, a caliper rebuild every 8. Actually, it would not be unreasonable to replace the fixed pipes every 8-10 years. My 2008 XJ suffered pinhole corrosion on one pipe where it had fretting at one mounting point. Made for an exciting approach to a roundabout!

From an elfin safety viewpoint, it could be argued that EV hydraulics are a greater risk as they hardly ever get used, so you get no advance warning of problems except at MOT time.

I agree, I would give them a good coat of looking at, but unless you they are perished or bulged, then I would leave them alone.
