In the last couple of weeks there has been several reports that have mentioned a on going shortage of batterys effecting ev builds in general how is this effecting jaguar.

Unlikely to affect I-Pace I would have thought. The production capacity for I-Pace seems both limited and known well in advance and so there are presumably supply contracts for the batteries for at least 1-2 years ahead. Battery availability might limit any increase of production over and above the planned levels, but there may well be other constraints on production anyway.

JLR signed a couple of months ago a contract with Samsung for 55000 batteries .
Thé IPace production for September - the first full month - was less than 800

The I-Pace battery is built up of 36 'modules' which are each themselves around the size of a small, old-fashioned, lead-acid battery - I guess those would represent the independently replaceable 'unit'.
