I imagine that they will need the configurator working by the time that the launch starts otherwise they will be getting lots of website visits that are wasted. I spoke to my dealer on Saturday 24th Feb). He says that he can place my order as soon as he has an email with the configuration I want - that's what starts the ordering process. Perhaps that means the Norwegian order we have already seen was created with the configurator? In which case it will be ready to turn on whenever they want to. Apparently no further deposit is needed at this stage and it will be some time before the specification will be fixed so you can submit a specification and then change it afterwards. My dealer said that their launch event was going to be in early May so I expect to be able to change my mind about the spec well after that. If I remember correctly I placed my F-Pace order in March and got delivery in October but did not have to fix the spec until about August. Thanks for the Link. Interesting it's a 6pm .. I wonder if the online configurator will be live after the event or a 00:01 on the 1st :?
I think the effect is exaggerated by the very large windscreen. In the photo the front seats in the I-Pace appear to be lined up exactly with those in the the F-Pace and there is only a small difference in the position of the B posts. The rest of the difference is in the way that the center of F-Pace bonnet sticks out. So overall the driver might be nearer the front by only 3 or 4 inches.ste said:Great size comparison - i-pace between f-pace and e-pace.... Really shows how far forward they've been able to take the cabin.
An exciting week awaits!

"The I-PACE will be capable of rapid charging from zero to 80 per cent in 45 minutes*"

That is much better!
Nice, so what's the max the I-Pace can take ? I rear somewhere 120kW ... or is it the full 150kW? Or "wont know 100% until Thursday" ?Paul J. said:
