Hi, I've had our iPace for 8 months now and a few idiosyncrasies aside we are very happy with it.

We are about to leave the car at Gatwick using a Meet and Greet parking company. We will leave the car there for 8 weeks.

I was anticipating using the Wake Up Timer to get the car to wake up a couple of days before we return home to check its location and state of the battery etc.

However, having tried to set the timer to wake up 8 weeks ahead, it defaults back to only 1 month ahead so I've set it to that. Does anyone know if when it wakes (currently set to the 8th November) will I be able to reset it to a further month ahead (i.e. 8th December), or does the car need to be driven before a new date can be entered.

It seems a bit daft limiting a wake up timer to only a 4 week max duration, but I'm getting used to Jaguar's 'idiosyncracies'.

Thanks in anticipation.

We left our car parked for 31 days in September last year 80% charge, car went into sleep mode day 4 App stopped talking to the car.
On arrival back in Octoger opened car via the buttons on the key fob, battery status 79%, so it did as designed

That’s what should happen and I’ve left mine for 2 weeks no problem . 8 weeks in a valet parking lot - no way get a taxi or friend to collect you.
Heathrow want nearly ÂŁ900 for 2 months parking, there are operators for less but not much less, an airport taxi has got to be cheaper.

I have a friend who spends a lot of time abroad. I Pace. An sit for 2 or 3 months and looses only about 0.5% battery a month.
