Hello all,

I'm new to the forum and thought I'd introduce myself as a new I-PACE owner having picked up my new (to me) 72-plate HSE last week.

I've loved Jags for ages and sold my much loved XJ to get the I-PACE; I am very much liking the new car. There are certainly things I miss about the XJ but the I-PACE has a lot of positives too.

I spent a bit of last weekend hard wiring in a dashcam (I don't really like them but they are sadly a necessity these days) and my next project is another for the interior. This may be controversial but I'm looking at swapping out the piano black trim with the wood trim found in the 'First Edition' variants. Not to everyone's taste, I'm sure, but I quite like it and it still feels fitting in a Jag. :)

Anyway, I'll leave you with a couple of photos.

Hi Jon. Welcome to the forum and iPace ownership! XJ to iPace was the route I took as well. Miss the XJ very much but have never regretted doing the swap.

(Should we be calling you Brian? :sneaky: )

Very nice. Welcome to the Forum, take it for a nice drive, find an excellent background and take more photos.

I've been called much worse! :p But thank you for the welcome.

Every time I see an XJ on the road now I wonder if I made a mistake but as much as I miss it, I am loving the I-Pace. I do miss the 'bigness' of the XJ but I already have another big car and wanted to try something a bit different and the I-Pace is just that (whilst keeping some of the Jaguar feel).

Very nice. Welcome to the Forum, take it for a nice drive, find an excellent background and take more photos.
Thanks! I certainly intend to. It's been all work so far and the weather is less than inspring right now so haven't had much opportunity.

Very nice and welcome to the Forum, I work in LB so I’m sure i‘ll see you around.
Thank you. Caesium blue shouldn't be too hard to spot; I'll keep an eye out for you.

Cheers,
Jon

Welcome JH . The forum is full of a lot of information, far more than JLR has, and a bunch of helpful members. Clive.
