MY 21 on does have wireless android auto etc but only if the Pivi is updated to a fairly recent edition the cars were not enabled with it on delivery so first check your software version.

My car is currently in its 4th week at the dealer so I can't check this next part but I think if the above doesn't work check your android auto settings on Pivi and ensure that wireless is selected as an option.

On the phone ensure that WiFi and Bluetooth are turned on and that wireless android auto is enabled.

I don't use apple phones so assume what applies for android auto works for carplay. Effectively the phone connected itself after the Pivi upgrade.

Is there a setting to enable wireless carplay on your phone on Android phones you need to enable it as an android auto setting.

still nothing. No idea what else to try… I’ve tested our phones on other wireless CarPlay vehicles and it works fine.

when I follow that above process I get everything done except the last query to enable wireless CarPlay

Have you unpaired your phones and set them up again afresh?
