Never had an email or a SOTA, despite Topix saying enabled back when it gave you that info. Dealer put my current incontrol on.

My understanding is that SOTA up until now has been controlled by the dealers. I'm assuming now that SOTA is rolling out more broadly that the dealers will be cut out of the decision loop? I hope so anyhow.

The one I received in April certainly wasn’t controlled by the dealer. The car came with SOTA enabled from new and the dealer knew nothing about it when I spoke to them. They hadn’t done anything, and told me that SOTA was down to Jaguar.

Agreed

Whilst the dealer has the access via topix to enable SOTA and subsequently then push for individual vehicles( click on link) the latest software. SOTA is managed by JLR. Even if it is enabled in Topix unless the dealer does a Manual push you won’t receive SOTA until the user request update service is enabled on the server by JLR ( exception to this was the small SOTA pilot group )
Currently a Phoenix orange disco sport ( using as my builders van !!! and luggage carrier when out in motorhome )

Just got mine too.

Apart from the regen brake recall, I've had zero updates applied either via dealer or SOTA.

"This update will cover optimisations to your InControl Touch Pro system to improve its performance and functionality."

Umm…

No mention of the fabled 30 Miles Range Improvement. Has H228 already given us this? Has anyone with H228 update noticed a consistent improvement in range?

I have completed H228 last weekend and have not noticed any difference.

I have a reasonably long trip planned for the weekend and guess we'll find out by then.
