Getting over 300mi of range

Post by PS702 » Thu Jan 23, 2020 6:56 am

With H264 I've been getting significantly more range.
Being in California, the weather is optimal for EVs.

I had another 100 mile round trip today and Averaged over 340miles of range

Very very impressive that makes you Chewy 2.0 as he so far was the only 1 that just managed 300 miles. That is 100 miles more than the improved EPA rating of 246 miles.

Would mind posting the trip stats.

Was it in ECO mode ?
The AVG speed is very low but still impressive.

Reading back through threads, Chewy actually drove 300 miles on a single charge with average speed around 55mph a few months ago.

Haven’t seen any posts from him for a while now.

Lots of regen for such a short distance - if high regen is allowed into the contest I would like to enter these 2 trips:
1) 12.20km/kWh (84.7 * 12.2 = 1,033km range) - 100km trip at average speed of 89km/h
2) 142.86km/kWh (84.7 * 142.86 = 12,100km range) - 37km trip at average speed of 49km/h

My best ever efficiency is 2.8mi/kWh, see below, a very similar trip as your third journey posted where you got 4.63mi/kWh! It was about 5 °c, so its either down to weather, software, my car, or you live at the top of a mountain...

Distance: 11miles
Duration 00:45
Avg. Speed 16.0 mph
Effciency 2.8 miles/kWh
Regen 1.3 kWh

I was on TCU 16.2, s19B with H264 done (hopefully all being updated)...
