I received the email on Oct 29 and 19.2 downloaded on my drive home last night and successfully installed. I'm still on 20A for inControl.

Yes I got the email a few days ago and mine only updated last night too (UK), but I was surprised that it was only TCU update to 19.2, whereas the infotainment s/w has stayed at 20B, I thought it was supposed to happen the other way around.

I would be very interested to hear if anyone sees a difference in maximum charging rates after the update.
Same. Received an unprompted update from 18.2 to 19.2 which installed after a restart. Still on S20B infotainment. Let's see if this solves my losing remote connection overnight issue...

20C and 19.2 updated this morning without needing to check for updates. Download was waiting on start up and downloaded and installed no problem.

But nothing about the bloody thing forgetting the password!!
Is this really beyond JLR software engineers?

Some things are just not that important to everyone. I 'logged in' for the first time this year last week. It worked for a few days then logged me out but for my needs, it really isn't that important. The SatNav works fine and remembers all my recent destinations without problem. Annoying? Yep. Critical bug? not for me.
Each to their own I guess.
I'd agree that it's not a critical issue, but it would be nice!

Obviously the 'Improved rear seat massage control stability' was a priority.

I got a prompt for 20C this morning. That’s the first time I haven’t had to chase up the dealer to send it to the car.

But I’m still on 16.2 and checking for a software update brings up the usual response saying there isn’t an update available. Does that have to be sent by the dealer. Or is it centrally sent?

Call the dealer and ask them to make sure your vehicle is set up for SOTA. This should trigger the update.

There is only one SOTA flag in Topix, if you receive the 20C update and not the TCU I don't think it's a problem with SOTA setup. In my case, for example, I've asked my dealer and they told me they can't see my TCU version in Topix. That coudl be a problem, because if the system doesn't know your firmware version it's likely it will not push for your VIN the update notification.
I'm just waiting so see what will happen as the 20C is not yet available in Italy as of yesterday.

Of course it is. They don't want to rub people the wrong way. ;)

I have the same problem and was at the dealer today. Even in the workshop they still could not update my TCU as there’s no version number. I have rebooked for next week so that they can contact Jaguar for a solution.

I checked again this evening and 20C was waiting, but no update from 16.2 before or after 20C had finished installing.
One obvious retrograde step I noticed immediately.
I was sitting in an unheated garage on a wintery evening, so using the heated seat to prevent brass monkey problems while the update took its time,
Nice obvious bright red (blue for cooling) panels on the seat display, visible with the slightest of peripheral glances before the update,
When I came back after the 10 minutes it takes the car to shut itself down thoroughly enough for the update to complete the install/switchover, I put the seats back on again and now the indication that the heat is on (it still works OK) has become a stupid tiny pale green dot, barely distinguishable from the stupid tiny pale gey dot indicating "off". Not something I'd care to spend seconds staring at with my eyes off the road to determine the current status.
Ex A3 e-tron (138mpg over 4 years)
Now in Black HSE (every tech option, no bling) MY20 VIN 829.. IC S20C_20.43 Tele 16.2 Maps 115.153
Awaiting PV, Powerwall, Zappi.
Looking forward to free motoring. (barring the cost of all the kit !)
