Who got TCU 19.2 ?
Re: Who got TCU 19.2 ?
With 19.2 and 20C things seem lot more stable -screens etc small screen lights up as soon and the car is unlocked and main screen comes up much quicker. If you are on source Iphone when you last switched off, it is there as soon as you switch back on. Small screen is not so sensitive that it changes a setting if you brush past it changing temp.
Remote App always connects first time.
Not had the car long enough to see any other improvements.

I am glad you can see improvements. Me myself don’t se any improvements at all, it’s still slow and riddled with bugs. The worst bug is the car keeps forgetting my WiFi and navigation login; two years and running... they seem unable to fix it.Topdown wrote: ↑Sat Nov 21, 2020 4:08 pmWith 19.2 and 20C things seem lot more stable -screens etc small screen lights up as soon and the car is unlocked and main screen comes up much quicker. That allows users to change their votes at a later date. I’m not sure if you can change that setting after the poll has been created though.
Yes! The re-voting option is now enabled.
Now everybody can change a previous vote from "No TCU update to 19.2 yet" to one of the other selection.
Many Thanks to ADD for this hint.
I've now corrected my entry to "No 19.2 yet". Still stuck at 16.2 (as delivered 17 months ago) and "No Update Available"

Re: Who got TCU 19.2 ?
My car doesn't update to 19.2 OTA. The dealer immediately offered to look into this, and already warned me that if the TCU module had to be replaced it would take longer than a single day. That made me think it is a know issue and the only solution is to replace the TCU.
Also, WattCat indicates that I have 17.2, but the dealer said 15.2. Not sure who is right, as I don't see TCU and Battery module information on the update screen in the car.

Re: Who got TCU 19.2 ?
As reported in another thread my car has spent almost a week at the dealer for this issue. Then I got a phone call and they informed me that following JLR instructions no action has been taken to fix the issue as "a future update will take care of it". I did not questioned as I getting a 21MY in a few months but I find a little absurd that it is accepted that there is an issue but no immediate action is taken very likely because it's going to be too expensive for JLR to replace every single TCU not updating via SOTA. So I'm supposed to wait and probably to send again the car to dealer for servicing once they figure out how to force the updated without replace the TCU.stefxx wrote: ↑Wed Dec 02, 2020 5:57 pmMy car doesn't update to 19.2 OTA. The message I got today from my dealer is that SOTA updates are now on hold due to “problems”

Re: Who got TCU 19.2 ?
Had the battery control update today and asked them to look at the TCU software. Mine does not show the version number. The engineer showed me his topix that sota is enabled for in control but not available for the TCU software. He said that it is in JLR control to release it. However my thoughts at the moment is what deference would it make so leaving it. He also said that the new I-PACE has a totally different hardware and control software.
