Presumably with 18 inch wheels, 20/22 will be less!

Just read this article and I'm not sure if it's been posted elsewhere:
Yes, and discussed quite extensively here. Problem is that this sort of exercise is not very helpful in pointing up likely reliable, year-round, real-world range, which is variously suggested as 180-240 miles depending on driver and circumstances. We're really still waiting for more definitive range information to emerge.

Hello,
I’m driving the Ipace since yesterday morning, and when I picked up the car, it was charged at 96% but the range was on165km.
I thought that was due to ather people ho tested the car for short distances ho basically amuse themselves making hard accelerations.
I drove the car from Andorra to Barcelona, and after that 220Km journey, 56% of the battery left, with a consumption around 20Kwh per 100km.
I must say, I drove carefully, but not under the legal speed limit, 90km/h on roads and 120 on autoroute.
At the end of that first stage, after 220km, whit 56% of the battery, the Ipace shows a range of 100km only!
Anyone knows how that car calculates the range?
Despite of the showed range ( maybe that’s a system error) my first conclusion is that we can easily drive 400km with the Ipace.

I think it is like traditional cars, they calculate based on some historical data. So after a few rides it will be recalculated. Good to hear that it is possible to drive around 400km!

Did you drive a production car or demo?

Yes but I thought 220km where enough to recalculate.
That’s a bit stressing to see 100km range with 55% battery remaining

My experience is that expected range is determined based on the real consumption immediately before, so if you drove the final part a bit quicker or accelerated a bit more, this will show.

Also, I didn’t have any concerns with respect to the %, did you? Think percentage is what you should be looking at. In due course, you’ll know how far you can drive based on the percentage, type of roads and pace.

Wow this is some amazing result, almost cant believe.

This means that you used 40% battery for 220km with gentle driving but including some 120km speeds!

Extrapolating would give us 550 which is by far the best range I heard so far. (Eat that topGear)

-do you know tire size?
-latest software update?
-perhaps any screenshots?

Thanks for sharing

"That last one was bit more tricky to test because the car's AI learns your driving style, and that can take up to two weeks. But even without the benefit of days of data, the battery levels were pretty close to what we saw at the beginning of the route for the allocated waypoints.
