I-Pace range
Re: I-Pace range
Helsinki Ecorun had 7 EV's participating this year. I-Pace was last one with 15kWh/100 km. That would make over 550km range. Competition was drivin in urban and local roads, average speed 40-60km/h in stages.

Re: I-Pace range
An old thread from back in November
viewtopic.php?f=8&t=615&start=10
I think the “best” was c160mi. Very disappointing. But it was warmer then. Someone did report 100kW-hr/100km (=range of c83km or 52mi) but over a range of 1.1km trying out emergency stops!
On a more serious note:
Has anyone worked out how long a period/distance/no of charges the averaging is carried out?
It would be more useful if you could set your own GoM reading, based on experience. If setting off on a long drive, where you know you’re going to be driving gently for range, the fact that you have been thrashing it for the previous week will give you a very pessimistic GoM. It would save a lot of mental gymnastics during the trip if you could tell the car when you start that you expect to get eg 220 mi range or do eg 38kW-hr/100mi.
It doesn’t help that you can’t get the %SoC displayed without lots of swiping and button-pressing.

Grammar, please: “with HWMBO”.ChrisMc wrote: ↑Mon Apr 29, 2019 12:25 pmGoshdarnit wrote: ↑Mon Apr 29, 2019 11:35 amDrove to Glasgow airport and back last night. Took the fun route and drove it like a Jaaaaag. Used 60% SoC in 80 miles of driving! Oops.that equates to a range of about 135 miles! Wet roads, 8 degrees, heavy right foot!
I bet you were a bit slower on the way home with SWMBO on board

Long time since anyone posted on this thread, so I thought I'd bring it back alive.
Fully charged my car last night and hit a new record - 452km at 100%. That's 281 miles in old money

Re: I-Pace range
Thats excellent, I am also getting impressive range. I did a 240mile round trip starting with 100% and when I got home I still had 44 miles of range (17%). The trip was mainly motorway in southeast England so my self imposed 56MPH limit worked out fine, would have been difficult to go much faster anyway. My usual driving style is less focussed on efficiency so the GOM was always telling me I had less range than I actually did all through the trip. I reckon I could have got very close to 300miles if I was prepared to take it to 0%. I am very happy with the range.

Summertime ... and the livin' is easy ...
Re: I-Pace range
I am routinely getting 440 kms in warm weather, using ECO setting and air con set to a low fan speed. I generally drive at about 90-100 kms/hr. (No freeways near me.). The consumption figure shows around 19.5 - 20 kWhrs per 100 kms. Dividing that into the usable 84.7 kWh's of the battery supports the 440 kms shown by the GOM.
