Travel or Service Mode

Post by SammyD » Fri Aug 16, 2019 10:42 am

There was a recent reference to this due to the car being in the hold of a ship for a Channel Crossing.
Perhaps it is me (being an old decrepit hippy) but I can't find any reference to this in my manual.
How do I put the car into one or both modes?
Driving "Hirundo Rustica" since 15th Mar 2019. Lovely Jubbly :D :D

Settings page of the app (not sure if you can do it on the car).

Yeah it can’t be done in car. I believe you can also do it through the InControl website but I could be wrong on that one.

I recently travelled to Norway via Denmark. Two times the alarms went off, despite putting the car in transport-mode (via the APP).
The alarms went probably off because of: aberrant angle of the car, or movement in the car (paper leaflet hung on the back view mirror).

Advise from jaguar: put it in service-mode while on a Ferry.
