You can't possibly heard what I was told by my dealer right? You can always argue that I shouldn't trust what was said by the dealer, but, I digress. You have your expectations of the car, I have mine.

Also, taken from https://media.jaguar.com/node/16726, my interpretation of continuous improvement would include fixing the lag... But again, you have your interpretation, I have mine...

I certainly don’t read that as “we know the system is laggy and we promise to fix it by SOTA” but I guess we all have our own interpretations. I hope that Jaguar agree with you.

I have had two software updates on my car. The first one killed the Creep memory and introduced vanishing Icons and multiple displays of the same pages. And didn't remove ANY of the other problems that were already present.

The second update killed my eMedia system.

I wouldn't call that improving the car via SOTA. Also, SOTA is only for Infotainment System, so another lie by Jaguar?

Or should we keep expectations low to not get disappointed... :roll:

I have it on good authority that it's a 5 litre supercharged V8 range extender that will be fitted in our froots

A free "Ian the Ipace" cuddly toy, in the colour of your car?

But seriously, given the small volume of cars and the increasing competitive nature of the market it may well be worth them doing something to improve the current and future fleet - look the the new premium EV review in autocar to see the need.

A lower res but faster reversing camera?

A turbo button a la an old pc to speed up the mcu.

A change to the inverter to improve efficiency.

Improve the charging experience by making it work more reliably and hopefully faster.

It doesn't need improvement it that sense. What it needs is for things that the car was sold with to work.

And still nothing from Jaguar to tell the owners what is going on.

Indeed, I suppose that's what I'm getting at, if the car was as advertised 100kw and *reliable* charging included and range more inline with wltp it would be highly competitive in the market...

The auto car test really showed ipace public charging in a negative light.

I totally agree with qqiao. The SOTA promise from Jaguar , should (and I hope; will) make the car better and better in any of its aspects, also the infotainment system.
