Windscreen wiper hitting driver side A pillar (RH drive car)

Post by Vorix » Sat Oct 12, 2019 7:45 pm

I think I saw this reported by someone else, perhaps on a Facebook group. My driver’s side windscreen wiper is hitting the A pillar at speeds above about 50mph. Not on every cycle but frequent enough to be noticeable. Has anyone else got this and have you reported to a dealer or managed a fix yourself?

Same here, noticed when the rain was heavy.
No reported it yet, will save it for the next visit, unless the weather turns really bad before then.

I have had this on previous cars (one Italian, one German). It’s a simple calibration of the wipers that the dealer can carry out whilst you wait.

Same issue here. I've been to the dealer twice and there is some improvement but it's still there at motorway speeds with heavy rain.
