Ouch

Post by Captain.Plummet » Tue Dec 03, 2019 11:07 pm

Today a testosterone powered Defender with donut tyres and half the Eiffel Tower strapped to the front end took off over a hump back bridge, lost control and piled head-on into my I-Pace. I’m OK and Bentley the poodle is OK too, but Nikola is not well. I’ll let you know how much a new front end costs....

Glad to hear that Bentley & yourself are OK. Be interested to see pics of the car if you have any.

JLR on JLR, that’s friendly fire, isn’t it?
As long as you and Bentley are ok, the car can be fixed.

It can, and the chap accepted full responsibility, his insurance is good and we have spoken courteously since. What remains is the thought that it could have been a cyclist, it could have been children or dog walkers or I could have been twenty metres closer to the bridge. Take care out there!

Could certainly have been a lot worse, good luck with the repair
Hopefully it will go like an F1 front wing change and be back with you shortly

And some said that best way to emit less Co2 is to keep your car longer but they forgot that old cars are more dangerous on the road ...
