I decided to go with the Pirellis, 20” and mount them on my ‘regular’ rims. Can store the tires easily and getting them changed is €25 a pop.

25€ to swap tires (not wheels) on 20" wheel with equilibration. I suppose it's price / wheel so 100€ total
I pace FE photon red since 20.10.18

No, but that is because I bought the tires there. Were I to just change existing tires, it would indeed be €20 per wheel.

As range is important for me, especially in winter when range is already reduced, I decided to stick with the 18-inch wheels.

Since a few days, my car is rolling on Michelin Latitude Alpin LA2 in size 235/65 R18 and weight/speed rating 110H.

Reasonable traction (label C), reasonable fuel consumption (label C) and seems quite durable according to reviews. But quite high noise level (72dB). Today, i will drive approximately 150km with speeds between 80 and 130km/h and will see if it annoys me or not.

That's also what I want to do. I am only thinking about other tires: Continental WinterContact TS 850 P 235/65 R18 110 H. Are they very different from the Michelin?

My lease company just put Pirelli Scorpion Winter tyres on my I Pace S this morning. It turns out those are the ones 'approved' by Jaguar according to this brochure: https://www.jaguar.ca/Images/CS_18_XCL_ ... 632833.pdf

I put 18" Pirelli Scorpion on m'y I-pace to.
They are silent and good on snow. Consumption seems ok with winter temperatures.

I also have Pirelli Scorpions on the 18” wheels.
They provide very good traction on snow and icey roads, have acceptable consumption, however are quite noisy conpared to the standard Michelin M&S “Summer” tyres.

But despite the relative noise (which is still acceptable)cl, I am very satisfied because of the excellent grip.
