Hello everyone - I am thinking of buying a 2022 (72) IPace HSE Black from a Jaguar main dealer - 32k miles, haven't been to see it yet, but will come with a 2 year Jaguar warranty on the car as there's a promo on atm and of course peace of mind re battery remaining warranty and updates etc - coming in at £25k which to me seems a no-brainer - I do very few miles so any issues around range anxiety etc aren't a problem - its a MY22 so has the 11kw on board and better PiviPro etc - can't see how I can go wrong, but any thoughts very welcome please!

Thanks - Simon

Welcome ! - If it’s a 72 plate it should be MY23. I have exactly the same age and same model ipace on lease (salary sacrifice) which reaches maturity in November and I plan to buy from the lease company so your advice of price your paying is a helpful guide. As it will soon be out of warranty I will buy the extended annual warranty from JLR which most on here believe is a must given the expense of some of the potential repair costs.

It’s been a great car and I love driving it which it seems is a shared experience across this forum.

To date I have been fortunate and not experienced any significant issues.

It might be a good idea to try and figure the warrant before change of ownership because a lapsed warranty requires inspection, timing could conspire to make it awkward.

Thank you very much everyone for your help so far - so, the car is pretty loaded, has air suspension, surround sound, wireless charging, heated rear seats, heated and cooled up front - some of which I believe at the time was an extra - I've seen the invoice for the original purchase (its a one owner) and it topped out at £83k!!! So huge amount of car for the money. Seeing the actual car next week as it's not at my local JLR - you get 2 years warranty and roadside assist. Only slight issue for me is its Eiger Grey with black polished wheels (look to be 22") but the inside is oyster when I would normally default to ebony - does anyone have oyster and is it more grey than browny? Tough to tell from the pics and of course is wholly subjective. Headlining is ebony which is fine. Thoughts on colour trim?

Mine is oyster. Most passengers describe it as white or beige. I could post photos, but they would not tell you more than the photos you probably already have. My first I Pace had a black interior and I did find it a bit dark and claustrophobic. Other than the colour and the wheels (I am only on 20's) mine and yours are very similar spec.

Thank you - yeah going to have to wait to see it in the flesh on Wednesday - would always normally go for ebony every time, but it is ebony down to the top of the doors i.e. the pillars and the belts are black too so all quite a good contrast tbh and totally get what you say about claustrophobic

Some people cannot get on with sports seats, but I find them very comfy and have never had a passenger complain. (Well other than a very mouthy young lady who moaned a lot in the middle of summer, so I wacked the heated seat up to max and she didn't notice, but complained about the AC, which was turned off).
I was worried about keeping them clean, but to be fair, after 16 months of ownership, they have no marks on them.

Jaguar have always made really good cars and the iPace is no exception. Mine's a MY20 SE Eiger Grey with Oyster interior. Fantastic. Oyster interior is very classy. Performance, even in grandad mode, is staggering. Range anxiety is something non-EV drivers tend to suffer from. I've owned a Jaguar for the past twenty years or so and the only people who don't like them are those who've never had one. Go ahead and get it...

I have all black interior, but much preferred my previous Oyster interiors as it made it much lighter.

That’s about £4k cheaper than my ballon payment for my 22 plate Ipace black which comes up next May! Based on your package and the warranty I’d bite your hand off for it! Making me seriously consider handing mine back and buying a same aged used one!
