Just had my heater stop again which, like the first time, happens at the coldest time of year (in the UK) which suggests not just a component failure but a design fault.
I suspect if Jaguar were planning to keep the I Pace going, even they, would have to update the heater/heat-pump controller design but clearly they are not going to spend money on this when theya re stopping production in the next few years.
Interestingly now I have no heater load my effiiciency figures have gone to the best ever at around 3.5 miles per KWh, despite the fact I am travelling with heated seats and steering-wheel heater to try and keep warm. This suggests the heater is using far too much power which also suggests a design fault.
