Not true on the puncture BD. The P-zeros have foam and my puncture was repaired by removing the very small section of foam around the hole. Clive.
Good to know.
The current thread on spare tyres/wheels made me think about this again. While it may be straightforward to repair a puncture on a tyre which has the sound attenuating foam, I suspect that if you used the sealant gunk to repair one of those tyres it would write it off.

The gunk writes off all tyres OBC. Clive

Good. I'd feel hard done by if it was just my tyre. 😏
But I'm wondering if the gunk would work given that any hole would be covered by a thick lining of foam.

Gunk squirts through, in contact with the air, sets. Clive.

I understand how it works. But depending on the viscosity of the stuff, are we sure it would penetrate what is a thick layer of fairly dense foam to actually get to the site of the puncture?

Had an uneventful drive to Beamish, Co Durham yesterday. Except fell foul of the Gridserve issue at Wetherby services. More my own fault probably as I did have the choice between the superfast, 350kW chargers which the car did not like and never got past "initialising" and the 50kW chargers which performed at 52kW once I'd had the lightbulb moment and moved the car.
Strange though, for the rest of the day, the Remote app wouldn't connect and I was all set to do the maintenance button press this morning but it's working.

Earlier this afternoon I nearly found out how the iPace performs in a high-speed collision . . . .

Wow that was close. Glad you missed them.
