Did you ever get this fixed/diagnosed? I have the same problem.
Same problem as in misting or vent flap; what have you checked so far? See above.

Is the aircon working (check the air is cooled). Are the carpets wet anywhere, if so search for leaks. Is the climate on auto? Does it happen with specific environmental conditions.

What settings are set on the climate panel?

The more details you can provide the better. Include model / year too.

2019 HSE 28500 miles. Glass - no leaking. Checked with the service it was replaced a few years ago because of leaking. Had it in service for two weeks, they replaced the blower motor due to it not clearing the car when misting up as well as a high-pitched whine coming from it at levels 4-6 on the HVAC control. No wet spots in the car I can find. I even used my extractor to see if I could pull up any moisture from the carpet. This will happen when it is close to or below 0 C. I can drive the car and the windows are fine, no misting, no fogging. When I park it and return to the car, the HVAC will come on on blow what appears to be very moist air all over the car and the windows will mist up. At that point, I either have to roll all the windows down to let the cold air "dry out" the rapidly misted windows or turn the heat up to max and then it try to demist the car. It is not a constant thing. It happens randomly. It happens on auto, it happens if I manually set the hvac controls. The other scenario is the car will slowly mist up. The back side windows will never clear. They just remain misted up, The front side and passenger windows will be about 1/2 way misted up. The front will clear 90% but will always have mist along the a pillars left and right side.

A suggestion for the side windows is to have the side instrument panel vents point to the windows.

We see that the heated windscreen is working on the left half from the moisture pattern. Did the right side also show this pattern a bit after the picture was taken? If not, there is a windscreen heating issue.

We can tell from the right side picture that the cabin heater and blower are working since the moisture is beginning to clear from the bottom.

The description that it blows moisture suggests the HVAC drain tubes are clogged. The AC refrigerant charge needs to be checked too as the AC is used to condense the moisture from the air.

That actually might make sense. I purchased the car as a CPO and my first test drive the AC was not blowing cold. I pointed that out to the dealer and they said they would get it fixed. It worked after i came back to purchase and I just assumed they charged it. This was spring/summer so this is my first winter in the car. I am taking it in monday so I will suggest they look at the HVAC drain tubes and AC refrigerant charge.

The reason I posted is it looks like a few others had this issue and was hoping someone would post "oh I took it in and they found the issue was this..."

Several possible causes for low refrigerant.

Yes, it would be nice if people report back what the solution is for their reported problems but that doesn't always happen.

Aircon sounds probable as have had similar issues with older cars when air-con failed.

MY21 heated screen appears to go closer to the edge on my branded screen, UK spec. (you can see the wires).

Easy test for aircon is to check it blows colder than ambient. A thermometer may help if you are unsure.

The screen should clear with the front heating elements for the full width where the wires are present in the screen. Any gaps usually indicates broken heating segments.

Dropped it off today. Tech has decided that they need to replace the heater core? That seems ..not right but I am not going to argue with people paid to fix the car. Looks like they will have it for two weeks - week to get the part a week to replace the heater core.

@Ayepace Sorry for the delay in response, had a family bereavement and so this slipped down the priority list for a while.

I took my car into the Parks Jaguar dealer where I live, giving them information about the recirculation door and the fogging up and the seemingly inaction of the recirculation button on the dash. It was also in to get the batteries checked after I had the christmas lights dashboard (cleared after charging battery.. Anyway, another thread).

They dealers response is as below:

My master tech has come back to me this morning in regards to your faults. He was unable to replicate any battery warning on the dash and cannot find any fault within the batteries themselves, Matt has confirmed there are no present faults although a code may have flagged up previously there are no symptoms advising of any issues.

Going off your description in regards to the misting fault he has dropped the glovebox and found recirculation flap on heater box assembly is no longer connected to the actuator, it would req. a new heater box which i am presently submitting this to your warranty and will be in touch again soon.

I still haven't had the job carried out as my 3rd party warranty company are disputing the cost for this job due to a small actuator fault but as I think someone alluded to earlier in this thread, the heater box replacement is a big job.

Since I brought the car home (I don't know if this was a good idea or not) I put some duck tape on the flap to keep it in the open position (closer to passenger) just to test if the car would stop fogging up, and it still fogs up. One time when driving I heard movement on the vent system and I checked and the flap had actually broke free from the duck tape and moved back to the closed position (further away from passenger) which is odd...?

Does anyone have a procedure to clear the AC drain pipes including which panels to remove?

@glenroebuck those pictures are exactly the same as my symptoms. I also get the annoying whine between levels 4 and 6. Can you confirm the part they replaced? Is the "blower motor" the same part as the "heater box"?

The blower motor fix did not fix the misting issue. Or the whine in the 4-6 range. It really didn't do anything. They said the would have to replace the airbox next to fix the whine. It is in the shop now and they told me the would have to replace the "heater coil" ? which may be the same as heater box in the UK. I have been told the repair is extensive and they have to take off the whole dash and it probably won't be ready for another week. Oh bother. Not sure I am keeping it after this. :( seems like we are not the only ones having it but they cannot seem to fix it.

Found this video on youtube which details how to access the a/c drainage pipe in the center console :)

Also, last night I did a test where I removed the tape i'd placed on the recirc flap to keep it open, pressed and held the recirculation button and then watched the flap. Low and behold it moved to the closed/recirc position, however it did not move back when I changed back to auto mode. So this indicates that the motor is fine but perhaps something is unlatched because there are no DTCs and if the motor wasn't reaching its commanded position it would throw a DTC.

I found this info in the workshop manual (pdf I got from ebay):

Just spoke to the dealer. They got the part in two weeks ago but said they could not start the work until wed of this week.. I called to find out the status. They told me it probably won't be done untill next friday? I understand they have to take the dashboard off but does it really take nine days to do the work to replace the heater cpre? I am leaving on holiday the 29th and told them so. I find it hard to believe it takes nine days to do the work.

Yes, more likely since i have left it wtih them they are putting every other car infront of mine for them to work on. My mistake calling and telling them I was leaving for holiday next thrusday because I am sure they will just push it back further knowing the soonest I can pick it up in 3//11, which will be starting the 5th week they have had the car.

Hi Glen it will be helpful if you put your model and year in your account and profile please - see mine and others. This will facilitate a quicker and more accurate response from members. Also your location is the U.S. is that correct? Thanks. Clive.

The experience with my jaguar dealer is the worse I've experienced in almost 20 years of car ownership. They told me the climate box replacement was showing on the system as a 10 hour job start to finish but that I should expect my car to be off the road for a week in case they cannot focus those 10 hours consecutively on it.

I'm still waiting on my warranty company approving the repair.

Here is a video I made about the problem I'm having and I've managed to confirm that the flap closed but doesn't reopen:

I put it in my signature now if that helps. Yes I am in the USA, but we only have 600 Ipaces here so Ayepace directed me towards here since others in the UK seemed to have the same issue as me. That and I am a brit at heart "D
