SIM not supported

My 12 month Three sim contract is ending soon, but I got a free 5GB Virgin Sim from my broadband supplier. Tried swapping and, although it recognises it's a Virgin sim, it won't get a connection.
The sim works fine in my phone and Mifi unit. Tried also with my phone sim, also virgin, same thing, no connection.

Put the Three sim back in now it says Sim not supported, also with the Ubigi sim.

I guess the sim reader is goosed, which is not good, no force or wrong inserting happened.
Anyone experienced similar?

Mine has been doing this on and off for months saying SIM not supported. With mine a touch pro or map update can fix it or break it! Was booked into Main Dealer but I have had health problems so cancelled the booking for the time being....

Mine is now booked in on the 17th August. I will update here once it is fixed.....

I have the same issue, which started a month or so ago. Prior to that the SIM was working fine. I have tried several different SIMs, all produce the same error.

10cc, has your SIM issue been fixed? If so, how?

Count me in the club. I have the exact same problem: used to work fine, then a month ago, it stopped working. I swapped my iPhone's sim with car's without success. The SIM in the car works fine in the iPhone.

I was having the same problem using monthly pay as you go. Managed to get the guy in the phone shop to come to the car and it was found that it has to be a sim on a contract. There has to be something on the Sim that the sim reader is looking for. All working now.

I have an appointment at the dealer next week to look at this issue, and also fix small other "annoyances" : distorted front camera in bird view (soft ware update), water leak in frunk, no water coming from the windshield washer. Wifi and Sim card stopped working simultaneously. It can't be the SIm card.

The car is at the dealer today. I am curious to see what they will tell me this afternoon. I hope they will finally upgrade my old 14.2 TCU version.

Yep, they upgraded the hardware , installed a new part, and finally installed the latest 19.2 at the dearlership. I guess, because my car is one of the first build, my TCU was part of an old batch of TCU.

My dealer wouldn’t upgrade my sim slot, just told me the sims i had tried were not compatible, my virgin sim needed the app setting but works anyway.
